Fox Valley Montessori 10th Annual Fundraiser - Feb 23rd, 2008
Fox Valley Montessori School's 10th Annual Benefit is promising to be the best ever! Who wouldn't want to enjoy a night among the glitz and glamour of Hollywood?
Our goal is to have 100% participation this year! In order to meet that goal, we need our families to choose one or ALL of the following ways to get involved:
1. Acquire donations for our silent auction baskets, classroom baskets or live auction. Re-gift that gorgeous crystal platter or the toddler drum set that distant Aunt Maggie got for your fourth grader. We'll take it! Ask for a gift certificate or product donation when you're eating at your favorite restaurant or picking up your dry cleaning. Offer up your own artwork or services, or a week at your family's timeshare in Jamaica. We are a 501-C3 organization; most donations are a tax write-off.
2. Volunteer your time and energy. We need help assembling the silent auction baskets, transporting all our projects to the country club, assisting our teachers with the classroom projects, making calls, picking up donations, operating one of the many stations at the event itself, working at the Red & White Sock Hop (the students' equivalent of our fundraiser) on February 14th, and more!
3. Open up your pocketbooks. Sponsor a teacher's attendance at this event. Purchase raffle tickets for the classroom baskets. Bid on the silent auction baskets. Participate in the live auction bidding for the teacher tributes and classroom projects. Sponsor a table. Donate to the cause.
4. Attend! There is nothing that can replace your actual attendance on Saturday, February 23rd, at the Aurora Country Club. It is great fun, builds community, and supports a wonderful cause - the exceptional Fox Valley Montessori School education of your children.
